About Pru

Back in 1994, my wife and I lived on the top floor of a five-story apartment building. Every week, I carried two bulging trash bags full of clothes down five flights of stairs to the laundry room in the basement. After one of those bags exploded for the tenth time, I bought a plastic hamper, outfitted it with shoulder straps and began effortlessly toting our laundry up and down the stairs. The next place we lived didn’t have a laundry room, so I tossed my invention on my back and walked to the nearest laundromat without breaking a sweat.

We eventually moved into a house to start a family (my two kids are seen above).  Our home now had its own washing machine and dryer and my hamper with the shoulder straps was retired to the attic. I came across it a couple of years ago while looking for some old photos and I realized that my creation had possibilities way beyond laundry transportation.

Why couldn’t you carry stuff to the beach with it? Or the garden? Or a campsite? Or even a construction project?

And what if you slipped a waterproof liner into it so you could haul some frosty beverages? But, why stop there? Why not add a premium Bluetooth speaker and make this a walking party?

The PruPak is the result of taking something that made one aspect of life a little easier and turning it into a product that makes everything in life a little better. Now, you can enjoy all it has to offer as well, so remember to always ~ “Carry the day”!
